Buffing the rest won't solve anything. It will just overly inflate the economy. SG was needlessly buffed, and now needs to be nerfed again.
Yet if they buff the rest, then they won't be so inferior to the end farming; which is YET ANOTHER method of farming, which makes more than all star tools, and literally costs $0 to do.
You're not making any sense. Buffing everything is never a valid solution. Especially not doubling the profits.. If end farming is problematic it should be nerfed. But as it is, it's still in beta/early stages and you can't make any judgement on this yet. But if you think you can, you're free to file a suggestion. Because what you're saying has nothing to do with this one.
Is this an economy server or a minigame server, sir? I believe balanced money making methods outweigh the popularity of a minigame.
Nicit- Do you expect it to be active at 11PM on a Wednesday? (Also, just one hour before that, lots of people were playing and I saw the large win messages. You're avoiding the problem.)
An overwhelming majority of the users who oppose a survival games nerf are the people who benefit from the overpowered amount of money you can make from it... hm... what a coincidence, right?
And the people suggesting we buff other things are the ones who make money from other things. People are going to support what gives them a chance at making more money lol (apart from me, I don't play sg) I'm not avoiding the problem - your statistics you're using to support these changes are based around consistent income. SG cannot consistently and reliably 24/7 make a large amount of money like every other star tool. It may make a decent amount for a couple hours a day, but it just doesn't for the rest of the day. You're the one avoiding my point which is that if SG was able to consistently make more money than anything else, there should always be people playing it regardless of what time it is. That simply isn't the case, though.
It is Nicit... I would say he is a trusted user. Jk you can never trust Nicit - he's gona take over the server
Exactly these reasons. Sg profit revolves around the number of players active in the arenas, Sg is mainly dead, so people don't often make nearly 40k/hour in Sg.
Actually, very few people are suggesting that we buff star tools. The majority of users who acknowledge the problem of survival games making too much money suggest nerfing survival games as a solution. If we buff star tools, massive inflation will follow. This will make the rich richer, and the poor poorer. On the other hand, if we nerf survival games the economy will only become better. If you request an example of how survival games is so overpowered right now, then I will willingly give you one. If we take the quintessential kit user on Eco City Craft and pit him against other users who have no kits on a peak hour, then he will make an extremely large amount of money. If we take multiple quintessential kit users and pit them against each other, then the person with the better PvP skills will most likely win the majority of games. This won't result in that much money, but it is still something to worry about. If we take two people who have absolutely no kits at all and pit them against each other, then they will probably both win an equal amount of times. Like someone said above, they can make 20k an hour from doing this. On a non-peak hour too. This is only 5k less than efficiency seven mining. Something clearly has to be done about survival games. His statistics are based on the peak hours of survival games, like you sort of said. Kit users can usually make 20k-40k during those times. You say back to him that you cannot make that amount consistently. You are correct, @Nicit6. But @Conorx said in his original post that he already knew this. After acknowledging that, he said that no one should be able to make that much money at any hour of the day, especially if you only buy a few kits. In this case, it seems that you are kind of trying to fight an argument that has already been lost. Not only can you make 20k-40k on peak hours, you can also make 20k if you play 1v1 with a friend when survival games is currently dead at a non-peak hour. You said that survival games can simply not produce that much opulence because not enough users play it, regardless of what time it is. We have given you solid facts and math, and you respond by saying that it can't be the case just because not enough users play it? How are we supposed to control how many people play survival games? Some people don't see the amount of money that can be made or don't want to invest in kits that will eventually return your money and then some. Simply saying that users don't play survival games so it must not make any money is superficial. You need to look beyond what is obvious to see the truth about the amount of money survival games makes. You have also posted two screenshots showing that there are no users playing and that therefore survival games must be horrible. Two things are incorrect here. The first one that I can think of is that you could have easily taken a screenshot at a non-peak hour. And honestly, Nicit, do you really expect there to be people on survival games every hour of the day? There will always be times when survival games is devoid of play. That's axiomatic. Now for the second thing that is incorrect here. You again use the logic that since no one plays survival games at times, it must be horrible. I have already debunked this above so doing it again would just waste time.
Everyone's arguing peak and offpeak... but nobody realizes you can make $1600 per 1v1 match? If 2 people were to 1v1 each other for an hour they'd make like 40k. 20k each. Without any features or anything. And that's including the 1 minute wait time, 1 minute grace period, and assuming a match takes 20-30 seconds.
I hope everyone is remembering the fact that with the 60-70k per hour, everyone and their brother will soon have star tools. Less than 20 hours per tool, they will soon have no value. The real value will be in tools that still do a good job and yet will not hurt too bad when you lose them in the end.
That's not really true though, because star tools aren't sold by ecodollars except by players. Even if more people suddenly have the money for the current market price, they can't use that money to increase the supply of them. The only way to create them is netherstars, which can't be bought from the server. With more demand but the same supply, prices will just go up. Of course why people would buy star tools when they're making 50k/hr in the end is a different question entirely.
