Reed farming. You need nothing to do this, besides food. It helps to have speed potions, especially if you're renting a farm. Without speed potions I make anywhere from 7-10kish per hour. You could probably rent a farm or invest to build your own, but for starting I suggest looking for a farm you can rent for 2-3k per hour, giving you atleast 4k profit. My numbers be a little off though. if anyone wants to correct me please do :p

 

I remember renting a reed farm back as a resident without fly or speed potions. I made around 2-3K profit, but that was several months ago.

I suggest reed farming! With focused farming, you can make about 6k/he, but you must sprint. I know that RyanJF1 sells permanent permits to his reed farm (and other farms too) for 10k.

 

Imgoing to take a guess at why reeds are best: one, they don't need replanting. Two, easiest thing to farm , seeing how it needs no tools. One thing I'm going to point out is the excessive amount of water needed to grow.
