It's rare, but it does happen. Most of the time though, if you're banned, you'll appeal or quit within a month.

At the end of the day the mayor doesn't deserve ANYTHING, 90% of the time that town member has paid their way in some way, so you can't say that player hasn't earned you something plus you get whatever plot/apartment or such as a free space now allowing more money flowing into your town, so the contents of a chest are irrelevant, and i for one would never penalize someone for having a scammer in their town, most of the time people don't know they themselves are going to scam they just mess up.

So do you REALLY need those items as a mayor, not really no your not losing out your already gaining an opening in your town. So why can't whats earned go towards the person who was wronged? It may only be 20$ in items, nothing to worry over. Let the wronged person gain atleast something back, i bet most people would change their mind if this happened to them.

As for the whole loans thing, i don't like it for myself but i can't stop anyone else from it, but they deserve something in return for their troubles.

Great suggestion. It stinks that there isn't any compensation (as of now) for the users who have been scammed. If this gets implemented, I have a nice area for auctioning if you would like to use it! ;) +1
