I would like to rent an Eff7 pick. Yes, I know that this item is worth a lot and I am also aware that most of you might wonder why you should give out such a nice tool to me.
Please read on, I promise this is not the standard "renting for XX money" thing.

The deal:
I rent your Eff7 pick

Your payment:
1st to 2nd day you get 66% of everything I mine
3rd to 4th day you get 50% of everything I mine
5th to Xth day you get 33% of everything I mine

Reasons for you to accept:
An Eff7 pick not mining stuff does make no cash.

Reasons for me to propose this:
Even 33% of the mined stuff (1st to 2nd day) is more than I make with my Eff5 pick. Besides that my mining level will explode.

References:
Playing Minecraft for 3 years, 2 years on another server. I was among the top players there, had to stop because of my job.
I joined this server 1 week ago and right now I reached this:
- Resident (15k)
- 14k cash
- XP worth arround 7k
- tools, perms, items worth arround 83k (more at the end. But those 83k are growing very quickly)

In total: 119k

Additional information/agreements:
- You repair the tool (or you take care of repairs). Of course you can name me a person who can repair it too. I will *not* go to anyone else to repair the tool. If a person you named me stole the pick it is not my fault.
- Both sides can end this agreement anytime we want and you can have the pick back immediately.
- You get the pick anytime you want.
- I pay you in mined ores, not in ingots/dust/etc.
- If I break the tool I have to repay it/buy a new one.
- Additional agreements can be made, just contact me.

Here a list of my items/tools/perms:
2,5 stacks ironblocks, 4 stacks of diamonds, 25 netherstars, access to a huge farm for everything (worth 5k), Eff5Unb3Fort3 pick, 2x pumpkin axe, 1k lot, 1,5 stacks gold + a lot of other things in my chests.

 

That is indeed a good question: How do people know they are not getting cheated?
Honestly: Nobody will never know, I must admit that.

BUT: everybody who owns an Eff7 Pick should know how much money you can make per hour. Based on that amount you can calculate yourself how much you should get from me.
I did not want to make a simple "renting Eff7 for X per hour" because that means I have to mine all the time I rented the pick. Thats also an advantage for the guy to rent out the pick: He/She can ask to get the pick back after 3 minutes, after 1 hour or after days, whenever this person needs the pick.


I think the main problem is (as you said) trust. Maybe I expected too much here...and since I am quite new I should have expected this^^
