Hi guys I just came up with an idea that would greatly simplify this whole investing of mine.
It would be very easy for staff to verify accuracy and to arbitrate any disagreements that might happen (I hope none would)
It would eliminate many of the somewhat hard to understand rules and limitations etc.
Here is my idea.
I would select few stock
Assign multipliers to the
Charge fee etc
Make an account when you invest.
... So far seems the same...
Here is big change:
You would buy a stock of your choice from the available ones, once you buy you have to sell it on the 7th day! Regardless of price! And I must pay you whether I gain or loose (no more pots etc)
I would still calculate price if stock on day to day bases if new players wanted to Join but it would greatly simplify per player cases say you buy stock on Thursday for 500$ each next Thursday over the past week stock went up/down and new price is whatever this is what you would gain or loose. Since you don't have choice to sell I would cap both gains and losses at maybe ... Idk ... 15% I could also cap Max investment to prevent myself from going broke and not being able to pay you as 15% of 100k is big difference vs 15% of a million lol
Now with that it would no longer be a investing more like fun least gamble with stocks ... But it would greatly simplify the whole thing make it much easier to enforce etc ...it would add uncertainty risk and make it minecraft possible
Here is a stock place your bets will it be up in 7th day or will you loose
What do you think ?
Those who know stocks could pick their own, I would review it propose multiplier and if we both agree deal could be made

Even with the simplicarion, how would u get the money back and yea, how would u get all this money back to people if u had a ton of people sign up? If!

... if your question refers to how I pay people that is already explained in the accounts section of main post. -

@AndyCYXU - I don't think your proposed solution addresses the problems.
- The legitimacy of brokerage account adjustments cannot be monitored within ECC moderating resources.
- Making a contract that states where "the customer acknowledges that any economic transaction/implied agreement may not be enforceable" may not absolve you from the liability of someone filing a "attempted scam" complaint; this is ties back to item 1.
If you as the brokerage, have a balance. Account 1 buys stocks, and account 2 buys stocks, append both stocks do extremely well, and both want to sell stocks at the same time, but you don't have additional capitol, you can't easily pay back both parties fully. What do you do here? If a client files a complaint because they haven't been paid back in part to fully... There is no easy answer to this dilemma. -

ADDED I would always be able to pay that's what the CAPS are for
so if i have investors (gamblers really in simplified version) for total investment of 1 million ECD i would only allow it if my total balance was 1 million and 150,000 for the 15% pay out. "1,150,000" so basically $150k of my own money or i would not allow more investors. -

I thought of a lot simpler version of this involving all the market shops. If you could in theory buy "stock" for each shop and then the return on the stock depends on how good the shop did that week (day or maybe month). The fatal flaw with this is trust, but nobody would be left holding the "egg" as the shop has made the money already. Not sure if this is a good idea but just in theory

Runescape, a MMORPG, does this (to some extent)
The link is to its stock exchange service.
This idea would be awesome but I kinda recommend a stock market whereas actual players can own giant banks of commodities and let the prices rise and fall base on the community of ECC instead of letting the stocks be dependent on real life companies. Freaking bad-ass if ECC hits a recession xD that'd be so cool…or it'd be interesting at least...
I don't know, stock market stuff has always been my weak side. Nonetheless, something like this would be awesome no matter how it's done. I totally support it! :D

Kinda realized how shops do this to some extent. So perhaps have a system where the admins can 'loan' 1,000's of blocks of commodities (i.e. diamond) to certain reliable players who plan to sell them to the public at a little higher price.
Once again, business isn't my strong suit. xD This might be one of those 'dog chasing its tail' type of ideas.
