+1000 orange is ugly and i hate not being able to tell what rank someone is in shoutbox

What colors should be used?

"Change this to _____" is a far better suggestion than simply "change this" nearly all of the time.

 

There's no other colour to use. Magenta = nether chat. Purple = pvp. Dark blue = unreadable. Black = unreadable. all the blue and red colours are staff.

A while back, I suggested that &e be used for Presidents, and we stick with &6 for tycoons+. I'd still be in favor of that. Even though &e is used for the End I believe, not many people are ever there at any given time, and it'd help get rid of some of the orangey-ness in chat.

&e is local chat. I wouldn't recommend it.

Yep, but the point is for the rank to stand out, isn't it? Having an unassuming rank that costs millions of dollars is pretty counter intuitive, imo.

 

-1 Its been fine for literally 5 years, there is no reason to change it now.

 

I thought this was also suggesting to make forums names match the colors ingame...? Currently president+ is just a sea of orange in shoutbox.

 

I'd like to have a different color but staff's hands are tied here. Human light variation sensitivity is limited, so unless you can invent a color, we're stuck with orange

 

how about we bring back the black stars for tycoons?? :)
