Suggestion:
Raise the prices of fish up either 2.50$ or $5 a piece, and clown fish $10.
Old prices
Raw Fish - $20
Raw Salmon $30
Raw PufferFish $40
Raw ClownFish $50
New prices
Raw Fish - 22.50 or $25
Raw Salmon - $32.50 or $35
Raw PufferFish - $45
Raw ClownFish - $60
Reason:
With the prices of Star Rods being so high you dont reep the reward you pay for them, this would be a boost that wouldn't make them super op but would raise the amount made about 2-3k more a hour.
And the reason id bump up the clown fish $10 is because you rarely get them.

I feel like this is suggested every other month but anyway rather than raise the prices of fish can't we just get rid of the iron/gold junk. It is those items that kill the money per hour from fishing.

If anything, I'd say there'd be a better case for getting rid of the fish price altogether. Why should we reward near effortless/semi-afk money, especially when the method is easily exploitable (We've literally had two autofishing bans in the past week)?

All farming is very easy to automate with macromod, including those requiring replanting. No reason to punish honest players because of the actions of the dishonest. Also, even with a basic client in vanilla you can just farm mobs drops with a block of magma. Burns the mobs, not the drops.

Farming is far more intensive/takes more effort than fishing. Can't really not pay much attention while farming unlike fishing. Still takes effort (arguably as much as mining). And even then, autofarming macros can be blocked (unlike autofishing mods, which although some specific ones can be banned - namely the liteloader mod - others cannot), not to mention the immense resources/time it takes to properly set up a working autofarm - whereas with fish, just find a spot with water and you're set. That's a false equivalency.
And yeah, you can automate vanilla things like that... and make virtually little to no money. Another false equivalency here -

I agree totally and have asked for this about a hundred times if I were to guess. The junk err.. treasure is what makes fishing near useless.
