    OK, I plan on figuring everything else out by myself in good time but for now, where can I store things I don't sell to keep them safe? I know how to protect a chest but don't know where to place said chest. I figure a town but I'm not a resident yet and have no idea how to pick a good town.

    So, please give me a quick guide on how to be able to store stuff safely knowing that I'm dead broke ATM.

    Place a chest in the wild, and /sethome there.

    OK, but doesn't the wild get reset? They say not to leave valuables there. Do we get a heads up before they are reset?

    Wild will never get reset again, it is to difficult because of towns. The only thing that resets id the location of build portals. As long as you have a home set there, you should be fine.

    The wild is not going to reset. What you need to worry about is griefers. Griefing is legal in the wild and it happens every single day.

    Remember you can use /lock on your chests and doors. This will prevent users from stealing items from you.

    What I would recommend is to walk for a long ways until you see a pristine area, then /sethome there. Use /cprivate to lock your chests and valuables. I had built my first building in the wild months ago and yet it's still there.

    What I've thought of would be to find a town portal that is close to towns edge and try to live there and talk in local to make friends with someone in the town hopefully it's a co-mayor of said town
