I recently got an "UltraLucky" and received two horse eggs. I know the voting page says to only spawn them in the main world, so does that mean other uses are able to steal your horse? And if so, how do you prevent this? Thanks.

Other people are allowed to steal horses. It is frowned upon, but legal.
You prevent it by sealing up your horse in an area that only you can access. This includes by others flying. -

I thought so. In other words, you either have to buy a private town for yourself, or make a small building completely covered in locked signs to protect your horse... fantastic.

Griefing (breaking blocks) to get at your horse *is* punishable. But if you are walking your horse through town or have fenced in pasture that is open to the sky then, yeah, you are asking for him/her to disappear.

You can lock obsidian blocks now so you won't have to worry about signs
