if I'm watching a thread and someone tags me, do I get an alert for the watch and one for the tag?
This has been happening for a while now.
here's an example:
taylor tagged me and posted on this thread http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/t...w-suggestions-are-handled.134759/#post-731810
he tagged me, and i was also watching the thread
shouldn't i get a tag?

I believe the system prevents you from receiving multiple alerts from the same post. Just like how if you get multiple ratings on a post you only get an alert for the first one until you check your alerts again.

Nicit is right, though I do feel that the tag should supersede the fact that the user replied.

Basically, the first unread post will be marked as "posted". If you are tagged or quoted in a following unread post before checking the other, it will add a second alert about the quote/tag.
