we had pvp in the wild in the past no one liked it and complained so it got shut off i don't think andrew will turn it back on

 

No because the reason why it was turned off is because people was complaining so much,and there was actual scams being reported so NO WAY :p(I really just dont want to get stabbed in the back)

 

This would be nice, until people turned a profit with it, because for someone to make money killing someone has to lose...

 

PVP in the mainworld would be chaos lol. I used to think that turning it on in the wild seemed like a good idea, but based on the above posts it sounds like it didn't work out.

 

We tried this in the past - it went horrible and will never happen again. We have even more users now, and I would rather not see 20+ complaints per day on Wild PVP alone ... let alone watching builders and residents alike leave the server like crazy because they can't even BUILD a home in the wild without getting murdered by a mean player in diamond gear, potions, and enchants.

We had this in the server >half a year ago for about a week and it was absolutely AWESOME!!!

More than anything, i want this implimented.

Ya I am sure people with flying, and diamond enchanted gear swooping down and raping everything that moves or attempts to build in the wild would work out very well.....

 

Never and you need to change the no vote to No I would hate pvp in the wild. I would nevEr go into the wild ever again. I would stop recomending builders to go into the wild and mine till they have enough for a plot in town just to lose there stuff in the wild by someone. I also think many ppl that are just starting there ecc life would leave the server. I personally would of left the server if I was a builder and pvp was allowed in he wild. But a suggestion if people actually really like this idea there should be a wild portal that does allow pvp that clearly states that pvp is allowed.

 

Everyone with fly would own everyone else. Also, there would be no need for PvP areas if it was turned on in the wild.

stupidest idea of all time that is why we have pvp portal and pvp zones use them or you affraid you might come up against someone better you need to pick on poor newbie builders

 

No because most players that are new to the server, live in the wild. The new players don't have diamond swords and stuff so people kill them, they rage, and then leave the server.

 

Two words... Hell no. PvP sucks and his is an ECONOMY server

Come on guys, here's a compromise. The Wild is mostly non-PvP, but after a certain amount out from the portal, like 1000 blocks in any direction, PvP starts. That would allow people who don't want to PvP dig and get resources and all that, while others could go into the areas with PvP and fight to the death. Anyone else agree?

 

Just a no on pvp. Just no. If this because you felt defenseless while you were getting griefed or whatever, use gravel. Griefers are smart, they adapt, if you beg to differ show me a statistic. I have seen on other servers where griefers roll in with diamond armor and kill everyone. In non pvp, they carry lava or flint and steels. Since neither is allowed and I have not seen a "so and so killed me and took my stuff in the wild" message yet, then there is a perfect balance of keeping away griefers by just locking your stuff, building a cheap house and not caring about a socially awkward geek sitting behind an LED screen. So again, no on pvp.
