Suggestion: I am a big fan of PvP on the server as of late. As such, I've noticed one thing that goes for all arenas on the server - all PvP areas either allow you to fly, or teleport, both of which ruin PvP greatly. I've devised a solution to the problem. I'm suggesting we have a PvP arena under mining world spawn the same way we had the other under ecocitycraft spawn. What this does is allow flying to be disabled by the world without lagging the server with another world, and teleporting being disabled by regions, but still allowing any user resident+ to enter, which is most PvP'ers. Now, I'm not suggesting the current one move there, but to have two, so builders can still enjoy their PvP, but allowing the rest of us to have a fly/teleport free PvP zone.

Reason: I want to see more fair PvP'ing on the server, but because every single practical PvP zone allows fly/teleport, it just doesn't work right. A PvP area that doesn't allow either of these would be true PvP.

Pretty much.
As long as flying is enabled in the PvP arena and teleporting is disabled, I'm not going in there, even with my protection IV, no matter what the flyer has on them. It's fun for people who can fly, but anyone who doesn't have it is taking a much bigger risk than they should be taking for doing such an action.

And to those it may concern - No, I'm not just unhappy because I can't fly, and no, I don't just want it for more kills in PvP just because I have pretty much maxed out enchants. I've wanted this to happen ever since I was just a guy in normal diamond armor with fly. I refused to use fly, even when I could, and I was not the top of the charts, but I wanted to have fun PvP, not PvP where I get killed instantly by people flying with no armor on and can just teleport out at any moment I wished...

Also, to people who wish to abuse fly in PvP - I also mentioned how we would keep the old one for the builders. Have fun doing it there. :p

Huh? There would be a portal to get out, and the safe zone like the current one where you can use the commands. There would be plenty of ways to get out...
The PvP arena that currently exists used to be under spawn and it blocked /spawn and all other teleport commands. You do know about subregions... right? And the fact that they don't have to go up to sky limit. :|

You have the wrong idea. Flying is very different from mob disguise and mcmmo+.
I am not trying to even the playing field, I am trying to make it fair. You paid money for fly, yes, but where on the fly donation feature does it suggest to use it for PvP? It was not, and never was, the point of the feature.

If I am in Protection IV armor and I'm afraid to go in because of someone in normal diamond with fly, there is a balance issue. I am all for multiple methods to be strong, but not one such as this where you pretty much can't be killed if you have the right gear, and not one that stacks on top of the fact that you can use protection IV, allowing you to be pretty much invincible in PvP if used right.

The main thing you seem to not understand is that while fly is a donation feature, and mcmmo+ is a donation feature, it's not like mcmmo is not available to normal users, anybody could just work really hard and be stronger than someone with the feature easily. However, being stronger than someone with fly without donating for it yourself is impossible, which is wrong. Forcing donations to be able to have fun with a feature that is free within the game is wrong. In fact, that is why I am slightly against the addition of mcmmo+ in the first place, even after I get it I will still be against the idea. It just makes the fun of trying to be at the top of the leaderboards impossible to have without donating, which makes it feel unfaIr and makes people stop using it.

Back on topic though - the reason fly is a problem is due to it's imbalance of how over powered it is, like splash potions, and the fact that the only way to match it sometimes is to get it yourself, which is wrong for a supposedly free feature.

Flying in the air is not available to all. Only donators. All the other things give an advantage through a means legitimately obtainable by any user.

I have 800 acrobatics, maxed out dodge chance, and it hardly effects PvP. I only prevent 1 10th of damage, which in a real battle, would only allow me to take 1 more hit for all the effort. It's hardly worth it even with the feature. In fact, like I've mentioned, unlike fly, you can get high mcmmo levels and be an even match without donating.

Fair fights are not determined by if both users were even, it's determined by whether users used unfair or illegal fighting methods. Any "unfair" fights where users have different equipment adds depth and allows for no instant come backs. It also allows clans such as die:mund to not be the strongest by sheer quantity.
