Yea, when i first joined pumpkins were $2 and that might be a little bit excessive but i think $1 would be just right

you can still make 20k an hour with the current price, it's not going to increase.

 

If you use fly, you break things a lot slower.

 

With cjb fly and speed 4 I can make 20k an hour.

 

I just want to say today I farmed pumpkins today and Ive made 55k at least, pumpkins still make a good income at 0.7 each, they make more than any other type of farm or mining, they don't really need to be increased.

 

dude, I installed cjb in the other versions, but I'm not getting this in 1.4.6. Do you know how to install in 1.4.6?

 

I do NOT use fly for pumpkin farming, and I just did a 30 minute test of farming in my farm with Speed II potions (which are easily and cheaply made) and I made just under 9.4k in the 30 minute period, which equates to 18.8k in an hour. Personally, I think that pumpkins are fine where they are, and if any change in price was to be made, it should be lowered rather than raised.

I am 99% sure that no other method of farming can yield more than 18.8k/hour, although I did use a truly massive farm (176x16 25 floor).

 

Just because melons are worth more, doesn't mean that you can make more money off of them than their lower costing counterparts, if that was true, reed wouldnt be a viable source of income. The melons are worth more because their break speed is lower.

 

Much, much slower, eff 5 on melons takes 1.2 secs to break!
