Looks like it linked another users enderchest when i did [ender] not really sure why it occured, but yea
Thanks for reporting. If you can effectively reproduce it - that would help a lot. In the future as well say something recognizable in chat so I can track the exact occurrence as I see you send that same advertisement often. Could be anything, "pineapple pizza" lol, and during your next report state exactly what you said right after it happened and I will find the exact moment.
[14:45:14] [main/INFO] (idk how timestamps work from my logs, but im PST if that helps any) heres a timestamp of when it occured from this screenshot. Yeah, idk how to reproduce it, i think ive only seen it occur one other time and it happened when @ClarinetPhoenix was hosting an event
Did some testing with this and it doesn't happen with just [ender], it also happens with [item]. Basically if someone enters the same function such as [item] at the exact same time as you in chat they will match up. We managed to recreate this via Staff chat today several times. Had this happen during my events when someone did [item] for a Magic Pick in global at the exact time I posted an alert with [item] for a shulkerbox and my [item] took on their [item] display and displayed a magic pick instead.
Good point, did some further testing with Bobby with powertools. If two users use powertool to issue the same function at the same time it doesn't trigger this bug, if one user uses a powertool and the other does not - natural chat entry, this bug will trigger if both users use the function at the same time. We also did run into an instance where someone somewhere used [item] on a bare hand while we were testing, so it showed [Air x1] and it matched up with Bobby's entries while we were testing.
Basic reproduction steps for andrew 1. get a partner 2. use [item], [ender] or [inventory] at same time 3. see results
I believe this might be a staff-only issue. I noticed this happening to me the other day, in a chat channel with @Mission001 and @blazwura97 , when one of them would type [inv] and I did the same within a few seconds, it would show one of their inventories instead of mine. It seemed to come down to within 10-15 seconds after them; I believe one time I waited at least 30 seconds before I typed the command after one of them, and it correctly showed my inventory. One of them tried to type [inv] a few seconds after I did to see if it'd work the other way around, and it'd just show theirs, not mine, hence why I think it's only happening to staff.
I just had this bug come up when I did [item] and varah did [item] so it's not staff only. I said in chat "andrew is a lil pizza boi" so you can find it that way/
@BobbyBlack @HighLuna @Karin_88 @blazwura97 @Videowiz92 A potential fix has been pushed to all the main servers, please test extensively again and see if you can reproduce.
I believe this potential fix started causing peoples [ender] [inventory] and [item] to just not work sometimes now. It just shows up as [ender] [inventory] or [item] when they do it.
@BobbyBlack @Karin_88 @blazwura97 @Videowiz92 We've pushed yet another fix. Let us know how it goes now. This is a pretty weird one indeed.
