Just replaced the wire to the line from transformer since the problem is compiunding.

Just get a new charger/cord you can get a new one on ebay for like $20 before you screw up ur laptop

Last time I had a charger, the plastic cover started melting which then caught on fire. if you see any defects just replace it

Might be a similar problem tho. try using a fan pad. i find my computer last maybe 60% longer if it's kept cool.
