Agreed. Fly is a donation/perk made to have benefits (it's $60)! Why not adjust it for non-fly optimum conditions so those with fly can have a boost? Also, it would make things fairer for the majority of ECCer's who don't have fly. It annoys me that apart from melons, all prices have gone down majorly. While melons are $2 like they used to be, pumpkins are $0.6, less than 1/3 of the melon prices. Becuase you can farm about 1 melon= 1/3 of a second with eff5 sword (I think), by the same logic of even pricing, you can farm over 10 pumpkins a second? That's is nearly impossible to sustain for long(with fly it's easy to mess up). The so-called "optimum" conditions are impossible to get! You can only get close with fly and sooner or later, you're bound to put a hole in you pumpkin farm due to the speed of farming! I hope the staff consider this.
Every time I download a mod it always does the same thing to be. It makes me mc screen black and will not allow me to log in. I even asked someone with Cjb to help me. And it failed misserably.
What about everyone who DOESN'T have fly let alone CJB. I can only make <12k a hour due to the decreased prices.
Super quick guide. Copy any mc stuff you want to keep to somewhere safe. Delete your .minecraft folder. Download and run minecraft.exe, get latest version, make sure its working. Download Forge and install it. Test if minecraft still works. Do not move on to another step until you are able to play minecraft with forge installed. Download player api and install it. Test minecraft again and do not move on to the next step until minecraft is working with both forge and player api installed. Download cjb and install it. Just copy the zip files into your mods folder. Delete the xray mod zip and any others you don't want to accidently use. Test minecraft with all three things installed and troubleshoot until it works. If you don't know how to install something, read the instructions from the forum post where you downloaded it. Or, read the readme.txt file included with the download.
Then farm enough to get fly, then farm with fly. Or use speed 2 potions like I've seen some other users do. (and I've seen them make 15k an hour) The prices are all based on users with good tools, fly and a big farm.
i do this while farming per potion i make 300-500 depends on what luck i get while on this i make well over 20k an hour super fast and cheap buy some nether wart and grow it your self farm some sugar or buy it $1 a per one and glowstone mostly likely have and i can give you a stand if you wish and super cheap potions that make you gain money
Or instead of worrying about fly, you can spend 300k-400k on the Sword (Which is about the same price as fly at current rates) and farming that way makes 15k-20k an hour.
Meh, the sword can only farm( It's not a very good pvp sword ) but with fly you can use it for many other uses such as building and mining.
Yes, I agree, but if they are complaining about how hard it is, and that they cannot install cjb, you don't need to do anything for the sword, just buy it.
Alright, time for the bacon to put in his opinion. I once had fly and it hardly made a difference to pumpkin farming i earned like 1-3k more with fly+cjb ... So if users are too lazy to farm a bit longer then the people who spent 60 dollars, then why farm pumpkins? When i farm, i farm wheat and sugar cane. much faster, and requires no tools. Also "Don't like it, go mining".. Thats my 2 cents for today, hoped you enjoy folks.
andrewkm I would like your opinion on this suggestion. And please keep in mind for all those noobs (me) out there who have fly... just don't know how to install and use CJB.. please over-think this thourghly. Thanks.
*BUMP* Please think about those of us who have tried and done everything correct to get this mod installed and still wont work.
