I realized recently that melons are $3 if I'm not mistaken. I think this is unfair to those who have melon swords. I farm pumpkins and I know I get $0.60 per pumpkin. That is a good price. I made my pumpkin axe with 10k. Each melon is triple the money then per pumpkin. Yet the melon sword is 35x more than a pumpkin axe. Even then the pumpkin axe breaks pumpkins faster than melons. I think the price for melons should increase to $4-$5.
Melons are $2, and no. You can make 17-18k an hour with a melonsword, making melons worth twice as much will rip this economy to shreds in no time. Mass inflation is what we're trying to prevent, this would cause it.
