im not being lazy i own a town and am making money off that i just would like it if i had a good reason to pumpkin farm
I would love to agree... But I can't. When pumpkins were $0.60 each you were making more then you should, because Pumpkin axes are only 7k-9k. The reason that they lowered was because the Melon Sword was making about the same amount as the pumpkin per hour. Look at it this way, If you pay 320k+ for a MelonSword and you make lets say 17k per hour. Or you spend 7k on a Pumpkin axe and you make 16k, which one are you going to buy... The melon sword was added to the server to be the ultimate tool for farming (Plus its unobtainable in vanilla minecraft). The Pumpkin axe is just an Eff 5 axe (Obtainable in vanilla minecraft). You can still make a lot of money when farming pumpkins. There are a lot more Pumpkin farm on the server then there are melon farms. You can easily make enough money farming Pumpkins to afford a Melonsword over a span of 2 weeks. What I am trying to get at here is that I would love Pumpkins to be $0.60 again, but it would screw with the economy and make melon swords original purpose useless. And plus no matter how long you bug Andrew about it... He's not going to change his mind. -Phoenix
Ok IMO Should be: Pumpkin farming with speeds pots = 14k +/- Pumpkin farming with fly = 15k +/- Melon Farming = 17k Since you do not need fly. When you do buy fly there are other uses. But for melon farming it needs a 400k tool thats only useful for melons. So Melon Farming - 400k Pumpkin Farming - 7k + speed pots = 10k so its like 1/40th of the money to buy. Well lets minus 60k because lets just say 1/6 of fly is used for pumpkin farming what is unstable data. That makes it 70k/400k pretty much means 1/5 or 6 So seriously the profit is nice now. I even think melon farming should have a slight increase as that 1/5 doesn't really give the farmers more of a profit. I hope now you understand why. So don't say fly is included DUH!
Fly is not needed at all for melons because they take time to break, unlike pumpkins where you can do /speed10. If it was up to me I would have bought a melon sword over fly because they cost about the same, but a melon sword makes much more money.
But then we can't find out who actually knows how petitions work. We need to glorify them and show the masses the truth of the universe. As far as I'm concerned, once a petition gets 8008135 signatures; the king of the cosmos will come down and unleash pain and suffering into the world in the form of Godzilla-sized ball magnets. And in an attempt to be relevant, I totally think that prices should be raises so that we can flood more cash into the economy with really lazy farming methods. Totally.
