Ever heard the saying 'You reap what you sow'? Easy life after hard work. Hard workers get rewarded with lots of money that they earned, so, in a way they start to have a sort of easier life.
This thread is pointless, there is a whole thread in general discussion for it. Also, pumpkins are fine at $0.50. I'm honestly getting really sick and tired at people complaining 24/7 about andrew's decisions. The server has been up with a stable economy for 2+ years. If he was a bad owner, the server wouldn't exist today. His decisions are great, and we don't need them to be changed. A week ago, I would have supported this thread with no thoughts against it. I now realize that pumpkins are perfectly good as they are, for one reason and one reason only. Speed II Potions. With these potions, you add +40% to your profits! I was making 12k/hour before, now I'm right on kuke's rate of 18k/hour (Minus cost of speed pots, of course, and e-repairs - probably 15k/hour). We can make 15k/hour with a lot of attention but no need for expensive tools. Melons can make 18k/hour with no attention but need a 400k sword. It's a trade off; you need to farm pumpkins hardcore to get the "easy" life, and with fly/ext+ the money is (according to my rates) FASTER than melon farming, though it requires 100% attention compared to 10 mins afk with a 200x400 melon farm. I'm sorry, but I have to disagree now. Pumpkins are good the way they are; if anything, melons need a buff to $2.
I want to change my opinion on this. About a week or so ago I was all for the expensive pumpkins. I've been looking and following this thread and people are right. This tread is very stupid because they create these prices to make sure pumpkin is at 12k+ in which it is therefor this so extremely stupid .
I think pumpkins should go up to at least 0.60 i make next to nothing off of them the people saying they make money off the are nutz lol not every one can afford to pay $60 on fly.
I have made upwards of $400,000 EcoDollars off of pumpkins at $0.50. I have calculated that I make $15,000 per hour off of pumpkins with speed 2 potions. I HIGHLY recommend you use speed 2 pots and then come to this thread; I'm sure your opinions will change. (If you can't stand $15,000 per hour with a $5,000 tool, I can't help you - as others have stated, this is a hardcore economy server. You can get the fly donation in 20 hours of pumps, or get a melon sword in 25 hours of pumps.)
Everyone wants an easy way to make money. Instead of doing something like this which is silly be different do something that no one else has done. Anyway as I said this is silly stop being lazy.
