This would be an interesting twist to the current go-to methods for making cash. I am not sure how effective this change would be in the long run though.

 

Yeah, I'm with t_bone...many people would make a good profit selling wood.
Although, there are a billion different items made from wood, so upping log prices might send a shockwave throughout dozens of other price markets.

 

I don't think prices of wood items would need to go up--like anything you cook or create with other farming methods haven't much changed (to my knowledge). Although, leaves might need to adjust... Having so many leaves may get people to use shears and sell those, too.

Otherwise, I don't see too much issue with it. Bonemeal is no longer one-use to grow trees, so it isn't like farming a skele spawner for bones, running to your farm, growing all the trees, cutting them down, planting, growing, nonstop.

 

I never used bonemeal to grow my trees. I just let them grow on their own.
It would be more of a, hey, lets make some side money :D
Then a, QUICK MORE TREES, MORE MONEY!!!
