Because it shows that you've come a long way on this server and also shows the effort and dedication you've put into it.

 

True, considering that selling donation features does count as dedication in that people would spend $50 USD or so to achieve this rank.
As for myself, I think the favorite part for me about being a President Tycoon is the bright username, and the ability to have dozens of towns without buying them from others. As much as I loved Mayor, I was somewhat limited by it, and now I'm not as limited as I was before.

I forgot, I can never be magenta. Now I'm jealous of @kukelekuuk00

 

According to Minecraft, the chat color commonly called Pink or Magenta(this color #ff55ff) is actually light purple.

 

Doesn't matter, I can't be that color anyway. :p
