Well, I plan on, after having the world-edit done if i can get it, Building the spawn building. Then, there will be a main road, or "axis" which leads straight through the city. Somewhere in the middle, i will build the Brandenburg Gate. If i'm right, it won't take more than a day to two days to build this. From there on, most buildings and designs will have to be figured out, though i do plan on addition a very large, neo-classical mansion for myself on the other end of the city of Berlin.
Plans: Make a great metropolis with cites each linking to each other Have one be based on great architecture, one on plots, etc. Have fun, and hope andy adds more features XP
my plans are to make my GRAND town atlantis and make it 400% better than wolvesville (the mall in wolvesville doesnt look very good)
well my plans were mostly land of the gods. so will have 3 towns for fictional god: Mistral, Nox and another town that was going to be called rift but because 1.8 has ravines it wont be unique so i will have to think of something else.
Luuk, it can easily be unique. The 1.8 Ravines are small. In my experience playing 1.8 so far -> they are mostly 4-5 blocks wide at the top (on average) and then fan out slightly to the bottom. If you make a town with the idea of a rift (ravine), you can make it anywhere between 40-50 blocks wide (sometimes wider at some points -> to make it look more organic). And all the buildings could be built into the sides of the "cliff" face. You could have caves that double as open public space, and you could have small bridges criss-crossing throughout the rift, connecting the roads along the cliff face, and everybody's "buildings" (they would be more like cave dwellings. And instead of people building up or digging down, your plots would be oriented vertically, so the person has an area they can build on, on the cliff face. And they can dig backwards into the cliff face as far as the town protection. Also, you could have more buildings placed at the end of the rift and the "top" of the town. And unlike the ravines in 1.8, yours could go all the way down to bedrock. There's alot you can do. Don't discount your ideas just because an update decides to implement something that is similar to yours. Hope that inspired you.
