I would like to propose a small fee to keep the portal to a town up. this would keep towns active, and cut down on the people who have amassed a HUGE amount of money.
No. Those who have to amass the MASSIVE amounts of money to hold things like a town, and a portal, should not have to spend even MORE money(which they may be using for other projects) just to keep something which they have already purchased with their hard earned money.
I have to agree with Ike here, most mayors are paying for resources for their town and big projects, and most presidents are spending money on workers/worldedit for a nation/town. so a portal fee would drain them of their money and not have any for building their new nation/town
