    Haha, yes... I have. However there's no such law here. People often team up with prices and work together to stock shops. I know a tad bit of economics as well. ^.^

    Diamond sell signs also generally have about the same value. Perhaps these people saw a shop selling it and decided to sell it at the same price themselves. After all, isn't that how the prices go up? Maybe they will climb even more...

    First of all, we aren't buying from the server store. Profit margin isn't worth the trouble.

    Secondly, the only other thing that needs to be said here is...

    WHY DO YOU CARE? IT DOESN'T AFFECT YOU IN ANY NEGATIVE WAY. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, THEN DON'T BUY IT. AND IF YOU FEEL LEFT OUT......

    THEN JOIN THE PAARRRTTAAAYYY BABY!!! WOOHOO!!

    The only people who get hurt from this are players new to the server already inundated by new information. I strongly believe this exploits new players and should be bannable.

    Isn't this the whole reason andrew did this?

    Andrew did this do promote user economy, this plan worked out as you can see.

    Having bulk "discount" is great for the economy because there are plenty of people who need small amounts of a material. small amounts are too expensive in the server store and large amounts is too much money wasted so people will go to the playershops and buy their stuff there which is where small amounts are cheaper than the small amounts in the serverstore but more expensive than the bulk in the server store. meaning people will trade with each other instead of the store. andrew has been wanting to promote user economy for a long time and with this he succeeded.

    :p I really made this poll particularly cuz of the idea of buying xp and selling it for more. That was the real motivation, and should have been reflected in the poll question by directly asking if buying xp from the server and reselling it is unethical. But, in the end, it was a mistake to even make the poll.

    I am buying things in bulk, such as circle stone, and then selling it at a lower price point than the 64 buy. Thus providing a service that apparently andrew planned on us doing. I should have known that he knew what he was doing when slashing 2k buys in half :p.

    Anyway, sorry guys for the wasted thread space. :laugh:

    honestly its not a waste. just one of the options is silly.

    I don't like the server store myself as i am against player to server transactions and think the players should be encouraged to trade with each other and the server removed from the equation.

    but there are needs to remove money from the system and this is one.

    Yeah. If we got rid of /sell then maybe there wouldn't be a need to remove money from the system, but then how would u pumpkin farm? :)

    It should defiantly be allowed however, it would not be very nice to use newcomers as a good way of profitting.
    I mean sure go do it, however i would personally not do it. :)

    I can almost guarantee that everyone that sell wool in the spawn trade shops buys it from the server shops next to spawn.
