Two- $25 Giftcards will be hidden in barrels on the map! Roam the area to find them first! Spoiler: Exclusive Lored Items! FIND 4 KEY PIECES HIDDEN AROUND THE MAP IN VARIOUS PLACES (BARRELS, CHESTS, ETC). TRADE ALL 4 PIECES TO LIME TO RECIEVE THE FIRST YEAR KEY! IT'S ABILITY IS SHOWN IN THE DESCRIPTION ABOVE! WANT TO COLLECT THE SET OF 4 AND THE FINAL ITEM? PLAYERS WILL HAVE ONE WEEK TO COLLECT, GATHER, AND SELL PIECES TO EACHOTHER. WITHIN THIS TIME, PLAYERS CAN ALSO TRADE LIME FOR THE FIRST YEAR KEY. AFTER THE POKEMON HUNT EVENT ON 9/12/21, PLAYERS CAN NO LONGER TRADE ALL FOUR PIECES TO LIME FOR THE FIRST YEAR KEY. ANY PLAYER THAT DID MANAGE TO OBTAIN A FIRST YEAR KEY FROM LIME WILL BE OFFERED A COLLECTOR'S SET OF THE PIECES FOR FREE AFTER THE FIRST YEAR KEY IS NO LONGER OBTAINABLE. Spoiler: Giving Back to the Players! This event will be a Jackpot Event! This means that all profits (from ALL aspects of the event) obtained during the Hunt will go to the player that collects the most unique Pokémon at this event (excluding in-game useful items unless there is a tie for first). Hi everyone! This fall, expect some of the following changes to occur at the hunt: ~Price of the Left Side of the Map to Increase from 100/250 to 250/500 to match the right side of the map. This goes into effect on the 9/19/21 hunt. This change has been made to make things more consistent and to aid in the new start island changes that are detailed below. ~The smaller back section of the start island has been revamped. This area now includes a tp to the PokeMart, an area with facts about the Hunt, an area to Donate/View Lored Items, and a large area to sell pokemon books that are caught each week. ONLY SELL BOOKS IN THIS BACK AREA IF YOU WANT ECD FOR THEM. Since this selling area requires a lot of weekly setup, I decided to have the prices on both sides of the map to match, so that it is less frustrating for me when making shop signs, and less confusing for players when determining how much ECD they will receive. ~The Glowshroom Shores featured area will be getting a few more additions to make it a bit bigger. ~The Ash Island featured area will be getting a few additions to increase it's size. ~Gen V will end by the end of 2021. After this new pokemon will only be added if they are added to the Head DataBase and if they are from Gens 1-5 ~The final Gotta Catch Em All lored item has a unique perk that allows any player that earned it to receive a small structure on the map dedicated to their success, as well as a catchable pokemon of their choice (some restrictions apply to this, but I will discuss them with the players as they earn them). I will only add one structure dedicated to a player on each Featured Area, so after 16 players get the final lored item, this perk will end. ~I am expecting a small end of year event with a few lored items to celebrate the end of new generations being added. This weekend's pokemon hunt will go on as scheduled tomorrow evening at 7pm! We will be releasing the remainder of the Gen V pokemon available (11 new pokes) and we will have a 10$ GC hidden in the map! Next Sunday (10/17)'s event will be on a different day (probably monday the 18th) as I will be out of town.
This Sunday's 10/17/21 Event has been cancelled as I will be out of town and I am currently swamped with Grad Work. We will resume next Sunday, 10/24/21. Expect a new lored item or two coming out in the next few weeks

Hello! Some big updates heading into this upcoming final month of 2021 and early 2022! ~I am planning on adding headblocks above each map feature that say name of the map feature, so that people are less confused when I use the map names as people traverse the map. The names will face relative to the start island, so that people leaving the start island will be able to see them clearly. ~The Ice Road will have an addition added to it soon that features an area for Non VIP (newer) players to get an edge on starting off! Expect this area to include a few cheaper machines (emphasis on a few lol), a slot machine with ingame useful items (maybe lored ones) and more! ~Rules will be updated and new ones will be introduced as we enter 2022 to balance the game. Currently, it is possible for players to find as much as 30 new pokemon a week (although the record is 26, as set by @CammyBunny). The rule changes and introductions will change this maximum to around 20 pokemon a week, but these rules will not apply during a Jackpot Weekend. More information on this coming soon. ~After a lot of debate.... I have decided to Introduce Gen VI in early 2022 and Gen VII in the Spring of 2022. More information coming soon. With these introductions means I may change and expand areas of the map. I am not sure how yet though ~The Lored Boats and Dirt can now be found each week in game. The Machine Lored Parts are being released more randomly to keep their rarity. Signs for this weekend's event (11/28/21) are updated. See everyone at 7pm!

Hi everyone! With the map reset happening in a few weeks, the last Pokemon Hunt will occur on Sunday, December 26th, 2021. We will import the map over to the 1.18 map as soon as possible. VIP MEMBERS: Place your collections in shulkers inside your chest in the VIP room. They will transfer over with the map. You are also welcome to transfer them on your own with your towns or your /tb, but you will need to re-verify your numbers with me if you choose to do so. Any non-vip members that wish to transport their collections over must use their own towns, or user their /tb. You can reverify your numbers with me once we reopen the map in January. I will update the signs for tomorrow's hunt later tonight. See everyone for tomorrow's event!
IMPORTANT 2022 POKEMON HUNT UPDATES!!!!Migration Info: -The last hunt on the 1.17 map was just held. -VIP Members: Put your collections and lored items in your VIP chests to make migration and lored item tracking easier. -Non-VIP Members: Use your /tb to store your collections. You will need to show them to me after we start up the hunt again should you earn a lored item eventually, so don't lose them. I will not restock lost collections. -After migration occurs, please give me a week or two to get things ready to go again Rules Changes: -I am going to implement some rule changes once the event starts up again after migration. These changes are intended to decrease the maximum amount of different pokemon you can get a week from 30, down to 20-25 (keep in mind that the record is currently 26). -1. Masterballs will be limited to three per week. They can't be stacked or carried over to other weeks. *This number may be increased or decreased after a few weeks of testing. -2. PokeCrates will be changed to have less masterballs, but more valuable items (nether stars, ores, keys, etc). *The price of these crates may changed based on demand. -3. The Tier VI VIP Perk is changing from Double Trouble, to Feature Tracker. Players who get to this Tier will get information regarding masterball, ditto, berry, and egg locations instead of Double Tier 1-5 Perks. This change is being made to account for the increase in higher tiered players/balancing of masterballs being given out a week. -4. Tridents and ender pearls will be allowed for faster travel around the map. This may change depending on how this impacts poorer players. Additionally, expect new areas of the map to open up that are ender pearl/trident only accessible. -5. Jackpot Weekends will occur once a month. I intend to give back to the players more this year. Game Plans: -Gen VI will be introduced once we restart the event after migration. Gen VII should also be introduced next year, with a slight chance of introducing Gen VIII. -I will be messing around with using heads to title featured areas of the map, so expect a lot of "trial runs" of different designs. -Coral Town will eventually receive an update to add more areas that pokemon can be found within it. Other map areas may get additions too! -I will be adding new game aspects to increase rewards for players each week, such as a Featured Pokemon that you can sell for at least 10k ECD, a new-player area with PokeMart Slots, and more! -The lored item's chest will be overhauled to show how you can earn specific lored items. -Other things have yet to be announced Thank you everyone for a fantastic year of the Pokemon Hunt!
