I think In the app somewhere it says something about having to type American English

Though I do feel your pain as I'm from England :p

 

Most wikis have different pages for different languages. Make 2 copies of every page but do one in American English and one in regular English.

It's part of the application because of this:
The Wiki Team uses American spelling. What do you think of that? Can you write using American spelling? (i.e.: Color instead of colour):

It is a requirement for the wiki team, so it is natural to check whether it is actually being fulfilled in the application.

However, I agree that colour simply looks better. ;-;

That sentence is in there specifically because of the American English requirement.
