    I was wondering if plant grow slower on this server than on normal minecraft? Or is it just something im doing wrong? Thx

    Yes, because of chunk growth, a user has to be in 32x32 radius I think it's.

    I don't think it has to do with your proximity to the plants, I believe that the plants do actually grow slower on this server. On singleplayer and other multiplayer servers both, all plants seem to grow up to twice as fast and sugarcane seemingly 10x as fast...

    It may just be my mind playing tricks on me, but I don't think so.

    More players that are on -> slower plant growth. If you get on during off-peak hours (late night EST), your plants will probably grow a bit faster. Though, your distance from the plants does make a big difference now, too.
