If you really wanted Tycoon, you wouldn't care whether or not it had stars.

That being said, I agree that the stars should come back, but maybe in a different color to make it more appealing.

Tycoon with stars = Awesomeness. Get me some of that! All the way to the top we go!
Tycoon without stars = Why bother ranking up? Pointless I tell you. Not even worth it.

This honestly puts me at a loss for words.

 

Even I am already EcoLeader, I still think we need this black star come back, because in my view, I think [*Tycoon*] is better than just normal [Tycoon].... But I realized once when I brought up this issue on global chat, I was a minority and more people agreed that it's better without the black stars... So I never talked about it again.. Atleast if people think black color is what it makes bad and horrible(but I still think it's better than nothing), then maybe use some other color for that ** thing.. I guess... How about dark red? or dark purple will look nice too...

But anyway whatever the color is going to be used for ** part, I still think stars should come back.. In my eyes, [*Tycoon*] looks lot cooler than just plain [Tycoon]...

 

Being that Tycoon+ is mostly vanity (with the new addition of town claiming), it would be nice to see the asterisks back. Maybe not in black, but something else to make Tycoon "pop." Helps differentiate the rank. I know that if I was a new user who just saw "Tycoon," I'd think, "oh sweet, another rank like President, after President," which really isn't the case.

 

I agree, tycoon is sort of your first step of becoming a rich member of ECC. Tycoon is your first 'Big Rank' so to speak and it should have something there (like the stars) to show you are on the road to success :)
