1. The new town farm is under construction in Culvercity, a separate town connected to downtown Lancaster by a new portal in the Portal Building. Pop through to check out our progress. When it is finished, all Lancaster players will get perms to Culvercity, and the old farm will be demolished/converted into a PvP arena/turned into a Dadaist performance art space. You may find that the new farm doesn't grow as quickly as the old one, because it won't constantly be ticking due to nearby players . . . but given the lag issues created by the old farm, we think that's small price to pay.

2. In case you haven't noticed, we are almost completely sold out again. If you have any players you meet who you particularly like, but who haven't joined us yet, send them my way. Otherwise, I don't know how much advertising I'll be doing in the near future. The opening date for Eastcaster plot sales has been pushed back for now.

3. A new condo building is under construction on the site of my original house west of the Lancaster sign. I managed to demolish the house in just under an hour. Since the existing towers are almost sold out as well, more space for the non-building types.

 

So ... we've had one too many instances of players harvesting the farm and not replanting. So when it happened again, we filed a grief report.

We will absolutely support @DreamCloud11 when she appeals this ban, and I expect that she will be successful in appealing it. Beyond that, I don't want to violate server rules about discussing bans. But this behavior is not acceptable or right, and that needs to be clear.

Hey, town residents who can't fly. Ever wondered what Lancaster looks like from the air? Well, enjoy the new Skygarden, located on the roof of Skygarden Tower. Open to the public, not just condo-owners. Just take the lift signs up until you run out of lift signs. Oh, and thank you to @gstoner3, because I absolutely stole the name "Skygarden" from him.

 

Congratulations to @gaget122 on reaching mayor, and on the founding of Pacificlands. There has always been a tunnel under my house to the south gate of Southcaster, and now that gate leads to Pacificlands. I hope the Lancaster community supports the second of our neighboring towns just as well as we will support YOUR mayor town if you decide to claim one nearby. Head on down and check it out!

Incidentally, though, @eyesee3 and @gaget122 -- I think it's time that Morecambe and Pacificlands had their own town threads. This one is long enough already. :)
