I still remember my first day... I walked over to bluecoast and saw you taking down some pixel art. I started calling you a griefer in global. :3
I'm not a old player but I'm not a new player I joined ingame about late june but didn't join the fourms until later. The first time I ever layed my eyes on minecraft the only thing I remember was all the same type of trees and just one biome and the world was small.
Let me rack off a list of long-lost server features I can remember :l -Diamonds for voting -SeniorMod rank -[Owner] not [ServerOwner] -the Herobrine scare (very small incident) -Mob... Something, it was a plugin where you kill mobs, and the player with the most kills gets diamonds -Glewble as SuperMawd :> -Glewble getting mayor -Underground spawn -wewin demoted to pres -EVERYONE BEING A BUILDER AFTER SERVER CRASHES
Hmm, am I the oldest to post here? April 2011, aye laddies. -waves cane around, one hand on lower back, and groans- Old players, er, well, back in the day, most people knew everyone and the server was tiny (I miss peak being 20 users). First map was the most fun, second map had good memories... Andrewkm had time to play with everyone... Pumpkins were worthless... Cactus could be farmed... Melons didn't even exist yet... Awesome people like Larsphee, Vaaldraem, and bkchaney played... Mayor was like 40k....
You're not a old player lol.... A old player is like from 2011 btw. Then I would be a old player as well playing since early April of 2012.
AnokFero is one person I'll always remember from the old ECC. Anok would go around and help builders start off on the server. He'd take them mining, give them a home, and set them up somewhere safe until they have enough money for Resident. I remember when Anok took us mining, we found a spider spawner. I sat there and farmed that forever. Then mob spawning was limited to only towns that had the flag on.
