WELCOME
Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the sixteenth edition of the ecc blog! *Bows to applause* This time around I've decided to change things up as some interesting information was recently provided to me by and awesome person (pat2100). I'll get more into that further on in this edition but I regret to inform you all that this feature will be replacing the build/town feature this time around (don't worry it'll be back for the next edition). Now without further ado, I give you all the sixteenth edition of the ECC blog!

CHISM_101 THE MYSTERY PLAYER
I assume that at this point you have all heard of the mystery player CHISM_101 and I must admit that I have even wondered of this members intentions. Honestly for the longest time I though he was a bot simply because of his lack of any kind of movement whatsoever. This theory ladies and gentlemen was recently dispatched with the news that he had actually moved! Yes, the legendary CHISM moved! I (as I assume other were) was shocked to hear of this event and instantly went looking for images proving this event. I can now confirm without a doubt that he did move. He even ran around spawn before coming to a stop in his original place.
I have to say that I'm really impressed with all the activity that this one player has caused by simply being afk, but I guess when you're afk for weeks on end people start to notice quite regularly. There is now even a CHISM thread completely dedicated to discussion of this player which you can find here. This thread is being run by the awesome OnSceneReporter and I would definitely suggest you check out that thread.
Now if you all though this edition was going to be without pictures, you were very much mistaken :). Enjoy a small collection of CHISM related screenshots.

PARTIALLY UPDATED TO 1.7.2
I know this announcement is really late but for those (who for one reason or another) are unaware of the circumstances, ECC has now partially updated to 1.7.2 using a protocol hack. For more info about this you can check out the announcement page here.

ECC HOLIDAY BUILD CONTEST
Yes ladies and gentlemen, I can officially confirm that there will be being an ECC blog holiday build contest running for some of the month of December. My plan is to get finish acquiring a town or more to use at a building grounds and to come up with some awesome prizes to give away to the winners. One thing that would make this event super awesome would be if you, the readers, could donate what you can into a prize pot that then will be given to the top 3 build winners. If you are in a position to donate please say so in the comments below as it would be extremely appreciated!
