1. Eff7 Tools are 1500 netherstars from the netherstar shop at spawn (Stonebrick and spruce log building) and can be bought from players for around $600,000.

2. I'm not perfectly confident in this answer, I believe 5k = 1 U.S. Dollar.

3. I would honestly say all of them except sugarcane. It all just depends, considering you're just starting I would recommend, pumpkins, cocoa beans, and netherwart. You could also buy perms to farms.

4. With the current donation features I wouldn't say you have to much to offer. In my expereience and knowledge of water+ and /back you have personal features or stuff that just benefits you. You could always offer to do water placements but a lot of the time people cannot add you to the place they want water placed and it doesn't make great money.

Along with this take advantage of the search feature on the forums. I like to search for a user's Ban Appeals. This is done by entering "Ban Appeal" in the search bar at the top right and then adding the person's name into the "Posted my member" option.

6. I do level 30 but for starting out you may want to start out at low levels (15-20) and then sell to people with lower standards (Builders/Residents). Once you get mayor and/or you get a lot more resources (Ways to earn xp/buy xp) start spending it on the luxury levels (30).

7. This is referring to a popular mod that plenty of users here use called the MacroMod. It gives people the ability to bind commands to keys on your keyboard and such. Some people have it set up so that every 1 minute they /sell stone automatically or every 5 minutes they do /repair all (A command that repairs tools using the ExtCommands+ feature). I don't use it because I prefer to just type stuff out and feel it doesn't really save that much time but to each their own and it's a goo mod regardless. You can do many cool things with it.

8. You have the right idea, focus on more important stuff like Mayor or upgraded tools, it will allow you to then get the $$$ needed for survivor quicker. Also along with this vote each day, it can get you a free 2k a day.

9. The aether we have is actually not affiliated with the Aether mod, we have skylands. It's supposed to be a place to freely build without worrying about common town issues like grief. Very dangerous though without fly.

10. There has only been 1 aether reset "to my knowledge" and that was just this week. The Aether getting reset is a very rare occurance and you should not be worried about your progress being lost. If the Aether DOES reset, there will be plenty of warning and good reasoning behind it.

11. Hoppers, Cactus, Piston, Bedrock?, tripwires, beacons, alot of the redstone-y stuff and rare blocks. Sorry I cannot go more indepth.

12. When I first started I lived in the wild with two other IRL friends and our house was an underground complex between intersecting ravines, we mined there and then when I got about 10k I went to the town of Flintwood with my friends. From there we used each other's and the public pumpkin farm and farmed to resident. (No enchanted tools, and pumpkins were $2). It took me about a month to get Resident but was in no hurry. I was rich in resources, not in cash. Kind of like I am now. Mayor took 7 months and then I stalled, became inactive a couple times and then two months ago I pushed myself and got pres. So in short, It took a month for Res, 7 for Mayor, and then technically 1 year and 7 months, but I made 180k for pres in about 1 month.

I think the best thing to do is to do what you are doing and ask questions.
Eff7 is probably going to be out of your reach for quite some time but your eff5 will do the trick just fine.
When I was a builder/resident I had a better time selling my XP to user shops than to making my own books. The XP market is deflated right now but it's a good stead source of income from those mining trips.
I think I would only use silk touch if you have a specific purpose in mind, otherwise the fort3 should your mainstay. hit level 11 and just keep going.
Since you have /back I would recommend setting your /home next to a source of water. I had a small swimming pool at my house and that was my /home. That way if I ever got into trouble with lava i could /home, dunk in the water and then /back and get back to work.
I assume you have a plot? If not contact me in game and I will get you one free of charge. We have a portal and a cookpot and I'm working on a pumpkin farm.

Its good to be aware of scams. I think that until you have a history with some trusted individuals, than it is wise to treat everyone with a healthy amount of skepticism. Use trusted individuals for your ereps and compensate them well. at least 200.
If an offer is too good to be true it probably is.

I'm glad you are smart enough to not lotto. And having water helps i just like a cool refreshing bath on occasion.
You totally get what I am saying with the xp books vs. selling.
Selling is a much more steady source of income which is what you are looking for when you are working your way up the ranks. Look around at the various shops and see which are buying for the most. It used to be $1 an orb but its below that now. When I would go out mining the XP I would sell at the end would be a huge portion of the overall income gained. If I had a particular shop to recommend it would be #70. Run by my right honorable friend _TANSTAAFL

Be sure you are condensing your quartz into blocks to save space. Since it doesn't require a workbench you can do it while you mine.
I too am glad that you checked in with us and I am stoaked you are being successful!
Be sure to reexamine all strategies now that mining doesn't give XP anymore, but it sounds like with a spawner you wont have that trouble.

Play lotto, seriously, somebody 1 ticketed 800k! I've won over 400k in lotto. Dont always put your money in when the pot is big (ironic). Try to win like 10k, then go higher. Or win 200k in 1 hour, like i did. I love to lose, it makes me like "I lost! Time for revenge!" Then im trying again XD 1k is only good for small pots or if you are lucky, you can win 200k-1mill! Lotto FTW.

The first thing i did when i got unbanned on saturday was to try lotto again ;D i was permabanned.


But be careful. Many of the big winners gets banned after a while. They are ending up with problems like my famous friend fotballpay1 . He were a millionaire and won almost 300 lotteries. He put 50-100k every big lottery.

But he ended up with loans and now he is banned. I know more ppl that got problems.

 

Although people say lotto ruins you, I have tripled my earnings.

You CAN easily profit off of lotto, just play it smart. Don't drop all you've got and leave nothing for yourself (I've done many times and have learned my lesson) but say if there is 20k and you have 100k then feel free to drop 10, 15, or even 20. Sometimes buying out the lotto IS very effective and sometimes it ruins you. It's all just a luck game.

 

That site doesn't track losses and lost money.

 

This is wrong... I've only won lotto twice, both under 20k.
