People buy kits to have an advantage in sg games so this would just ruin it and people who payed for kits would be very mad.
So, I don't agree with having a non-kit arena. I actually think a better option, if possible, would be to code it so there is a 1/10 chance or something like that for a match to be non kit. If it was the kits would be disabled upon joining and the match would say "No kits this round." or something like that. I think it would be more effective to have random non kit matches in random arenas then to have a specific place for people who hate kit users to go. Thats just me though.
Well then the kit users would be happy and the non kit users would be happy while at the same time making it so the kits aren't completely useless because there won't ALWAYS be a non-kit arena.
I recommend sg4 to be a non-kit arena because there are many kits even if you don't get anything from snipe.
No, of course you didn't. But I'm pretty sure if Andrew was the one to say it, or something along those lines, no one would even try and suggest an idea like this. It's still going on. Just because it's been suggested many times before doesn't mean it'll never happen. More players are starting to see changes in this mini-game and beginning to see the reality of it. ^^
What will happen if you ask me. All of the people would go in that arena, and we, all the kit users, will end up in one arena fighting each-other.
But then what's the point of buying a kit? I'm sure if this was put in place, every person that didn't like kits would go to that arena.
There's so many people, I don't think everyone is going to wait for it to finish. I don't think there's a problem using kits against non-kit users but you need to have sympathy for them. Some of the kits are way too powerful and if there could at least be one arena where kits weren't allowed, I know many of us would be happy. I do like revansrose' idea though, if Nelsin's choice isn't chosen. I think it can be a little bit of fun!
I know I'm a little late to this conversation, but I thought I'd throw my 2 cents in. Some non-kit users are content with playing matches that contain kit users. Not all non-kit users would disappear from the arenas. From my perspective, kits are there the change the gameplay up a bit and allow for new strategies to occur. However, using them to easily kill those who do not have them is not the change in gameplay that should be occuring. Allowing those who do not have kits to have an arena for themselves will not tarnish the reasoning behind buying kits. There can only be so many people in an SG at one time, and if one arena was made kitless, that would leave two options when the arena fills. Play another arena, or don't play at all. Many people that are against kits (I assume), don't play SG games very much anyway. Bringing in a kitless arena might actually get more people to begin playing. I know for a fact, that I would play more often if this kind of arena was implemented. The whole point of sg kits is to have an advantage. I agree with that. But that is not limited to just non-kit players. Some people don't think about any sort of strategy when it comes to using their kits. If you have a kit, and play smarter than another person with a kit, you'll have an advantage. Not to mention, with all of the different kits available, there are some that would be useful to counter other kit users. Having one arena where there are no kits would more than likely not affect donations at all or at least very much. If you look at a few posts within this thread, you will see that not all kit users are against this suggestion. As I said above, many people don't even play SG games because of kits anyways. Having an arena like this might actually entice more people to play. Not to mention, what's so bad about kit users fighting one another? The fact that it would take a little more skill and planning to stand a chance? Also, if it's just one arena that is kitless, this would still leave 7 arenas for people to play on. Not all kitless players are opposed to playing with kit players, so don't fret, you'll still have your easy targets. That's the whole point of this thread. But do keep in mind that there is a limited amount of people that can play in one arena at once. If the arena has started or is full and if you want to play bad enough, you'll join another arena.
