Mining world is fun because of the risk that other players are there and CAN kill you. Not all are noobs that just kill anyone on sight. I have met strangers there and for about an hour we just mined together, laughed and then parted ways. Of course you have people that go there just to pvp, but that is limited to about 200 to 300 radius from the spawn. PURE PVPERS NEVER GO BEYOND 300!!!! If you want no risk at all GO TO MAINWORLD!!!!!
Yes, PvP is rare in miningworld as long as you're at least 100 blocks away from spawn, and if you DO end up getting randomly attacked, just do /spawn or /home, what's the big deal in that? Wear at least iron armor so that you'll have time to type the commands before dying.
I mined a handsome 80 diamonds within 2 days in the main world. The risk of death is about 0.1% if you know how to mine right. 5% if you don't
Although, I agree with the concept of there being PVP in the mining world. I don't like it because I don't PVP. But, I can type /spawn really fast, if I'm paying attention. However, there should be a buffer of like 100 meters outside spawn that is NOT PVP and maybe above 30 depth within that 100 meters. So, if you are mining between 30 and sky and between the edge of the spawn and +/- 100 then you can't be attacked. This will at least make PVPers not be able to camp at spawn to pk potential miners. A miner can start digging down and at least know someone is stalking them and decide how to evade them.
If you are scared of Pvp (which I am) Dont go to mining world EVER, just stay away thats what i try to do! Also what is big with mining in mining world it isnt any better! ps. Why cant it be changed to pvp World! Makes more sence! -KvBillo-
I think hit and runs in Mining World are going to increase now that Investigator is here. You can sit at the entrance vanished wait for an innocent miner, follow them for a couple hours and when their full of stuff stab him in the back. All you need is a good sword and nothing else. if you don't like to die in the mining world take yourself to one of the build portals there is 28 of them and a lot of area's not explored so don't complaint about mining world if you cant take getting killed i don't mine in the mining world cause i have build portals i come to mining world to rip some heads so yeah there is probabaly a 100% chance the mining world will stay pvp

PVP should be enabled in the mining world! How else are we gonna stop those random noobs from following us!?
