So as far as I know, Mojang hasn't released any information about the next major Minecraft development. Yesterday I was talking in global about some stuff that I think should be implemented and then we argued about it for a little while. This made me wonder what everyone else thinks Mojang should add to Minecraft to make it more fun.

Personally, I think they should add a few new mob types: bears, alligators/sharks, and giraffes/elephants. Each type would be a different hostility, for example, bears would be passive-aggressive like wolves, alligators/sharks would be aggressive, and giraffes/elephants would be passive. Bears would be similar to horses in that any number of types could spawn (brown, black, panda, grizzly, and polar), and like wolves would be tamable, although some would be harder to tame than others. Alligators would be found only in swamp biomes, making them less useless. Giraffes or elephants would complete the balance by being passive mobs and would be found in plains, savanna, and roofed forest biomes.

Let me know what you guys think should be added, I'd love to hear from others. Also I didn't know whether to put this in General or Off-Topic so I just decided on General but feel free to move it if you want.

 

Tides would probably be a lot of work for developers and would cause some nasty lag, but I like where you're going with the carts like being able to link carts and such? That seems feasible
