PVP isn't a good idea starting out. Focus on money. Vote on the server, sell your nether stars in the market, and get a decent plot. After that, try to mine or farm. I hope you will enjoy your time here on ECC and have fun. :)

 

Welcome to the server! My advice is to work your way up to resident:) First, you can obtain a plot by asking for one in /ch tr:) Then you can farm and mine to get money! Good luck! Pm me of you need anything;)

 

Once you are economically stable, you can go for pvp.But I have seen many players rage quit because they went for PVP first, lost everything and quit. If you are more stable economically, if you happen to die it feels like less of a hit then putting everything you've got into pvp and losing.

 

McMMo really messes up pvp skills, so i'd say start off with economy. PvP for fun.
