Suggestion:
A new game mode (well down the road) with a server designed around an insanely difficult PvE environment. Basically mobs are extremely difficult and in massive numbers during night and in caves.. charged creepers that kill in one explosion.. custom mobs that are crazy hard that offer special rewards and trophies that can be displayed in main server. They would be super rare and only spawn at certain times. Economy that is limited and similar to Skyblock but like VMR maybe a true vanilla experience since the difficulty would make it hard to do anything crazy. Mob drops would be higher and worth more due to difficulty of killing mobs. Ranks based on the number of mobs killed and rewards for killing the more difficult custom mobs. The end and nether would be accessible and offer the same challenges.

Examples:
Giant Zombies that you have to be fully geared and even need a team to take down. They will stomp you and kill you like the ant that you are..

The Enderman king protected by an army of the strongest Enderman guards. You have to get through them before you can get to him.

The lost Bat that is impossible to trap and kill and is extremely deadly.

So many more ideas..

Reason:
I know we continue to look at adding more game modes. PvP is not really popular so a PvP server will likely not get a lot of interest. I think a game mode like this would be more suited to our community and offer rewards that cannot be obtained anywhere else on ECC. There would be a tie in to the main as well where you can transfer funds similar to Skyblock as well as maybe rewards for acheiving ranks. I know Skyblock is still a work in progress and Many want to ensure we get that running, but maybe in the future we could look at something like this as an option.

Other Information:
Purchasable kits with potions, gear, maybe a compass that tracks custom mobs, the ability to use some commands (limited for difficulty). I’m sure there is a lot that can be done here.

There are several PvE plugins out there as well as some that I know Jamie could tweak and make it work for ECC. Here is a link to a thread that has some ideas... I have also found a lot of other cool plugins for custom mobs and even environmental challenges.
