its more than $60 if its a repeat offense i believe. The unban purchase is supposed to be their hint to not get banned the first time, but if it keeps happening- its kinda sketchy

 

100% agree with this suggestion as it's a win / win situation. The community is rid of cancer players and Andrew gets more racks to flex some diamond watches. +1

I believe the suggestion is a asking for an increase in the cost of the perma ban if its needed to be purchased more than once.
If the player needs to purchase a perma ban- this is usually an extreme situation and the player is expected to read the rules over and fully understand them before returning to the server.
If they refuse to do so and return anyway and break more rules and return to their perma banned state... clearly no lesson was learnt. It makes sense to increase the price to get the player to learn the rules as the old price meant nothing.

I don't believe its a matter of affecting anyone specifically but more so the server as a whole.

Except it does affect 'us', as we still have to deal with that toxic player on the server.
Up the prices every ban they get, if it means they don't want to come back - good. Win-win situation, andrew makes more money or the player fucks off.

 

I believe you misunderstand my explanations.
They were to help answer questions the player had regarding the detail of the suggestion.

 

I mean, Tbf, bringing back consistently toxic players (at the same price no less) does affect us as a community, negatively.

 

I feel this is too way to harsh and authoritarian we should be investing staff time into finding out why these people are offending and getting to the root about why they can't seem to stay unbanned. Invest in schemes to reconnect these players with the rest of ECC and host events to bring people together such as a Winter Spleef tournament, contests and so on.

Does this apply to people who loan scam over and over again or will they just be allowed to scam every time they get unbanned again?

Some of the times I've been permabanned have been quite minor will the strictness of the permabans be decreased as the sentence is much more harsh?

Gotta consider these factors.

This is a good idea in theory, but I don't see it benefitting ECC in practise. I see this suggestion as a tool to cause even more division as players will seek to flamebait and try to get someone banned as they know they are unlikely to ever get back onto the server again. People will be out to get the most vulnerable.

We should bring ECC together and move on and prosper as the great community we are!

 

I know it's actually very scary indeed turbulent times, but we will pull through we always do!

 

Staff would have a really hard time figuring these things out. Would require psychiatrist and soo on to get to the bottom of these issues
