What are you suggesting:

That the Italics, Underline and Bold text codes to signs.​

Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:

Adds more options to decorate your signs and uses the same code as chat. I don't really know why signs don't include it already.​

It would be included with the same feature that allows sign colouring.
