My Spending
Have you ever wondered "where the hell did all my money go?" or "where did i get 500k?" Well so do I (basically every day). This is why I have decided to log each and every amount of money that comes into my account and leaves my account. For the entire month of January I will be collecting all information on transactions(from /sell hand, to selling plots, to money made/spent in trade signs) that I do, and compiling it into a word document.
Since a few people were interested in how I spent my money, I figured I'd show you guys. Below is a link to the google docs page from which you can download the Excel file, or you can simply view my transactions in the pictures I've provided.
Click here to go to the google docs page. Want to download the file? Open the google docs page, click "file" then click "Download".

Quite an interesting thing to. I did it on real life spending over 3 months last year and was horrified at how little things like a coffee here and there all add up to spending a small fortune over time!

welikeike22 What program do you use to do this? Just a spreadsheet? I'd be interested in making my own.

On day 3 you sold a ton of "unob. Dirt" to various people for various prices. What is that and why is there such variety in pricing?

Side note for RL, though this may not be for everyone. I personally try to use a credit card for all my purchases, and there is a web tool, mint.com that can track and organize all your purchases. It auto organizes them into categories and you can set budgets for categories and monitor how it goes through the month. You can also enter in cash transactions, or move line items between categories. It's also cool that it can produce charts and graphs over time. I also believe the data can be downloaded as a spreadsheet for personal use.

Yeah, pretty sure he's using Excel. Calc with OpenOffice also works (what I have right now, unfortunately) if you don't own MS programs. -

I should do one of these as well, I always wonder where all my money goes... Interesting read though Ike, I'll be looking forward to monitoring your transactions *insert creeper face here*

I like how ike could sell unobtainable dirt for money. Hope this has nothing to do with his level of staff position.
:p
