i am going to beat this with an overly complicated mechanism for something really simple

 

My contraption failed...it took me 5 HOURS to make, and it was done too, but I was having a problem, I looked at the minecraft bugs that appeared in 1.7, one of them makes my thing impossible, but if it weren't for that bug, I'd be so happy right now. there is no way I'm going to top any of the other contraptions tonight with a new project, I'm too tired...in fact, I'm going to bed right now

/me takes Andrew's idea of using /me at the beginning to say /me hops into bed...
