@MattBrpQc Find your self a lancer evo. Also, as far as I'm concerned, automatics are not allowed.

Unfortunately bro, I know, automatics on a lancer are against the rules, if I get the red one, I will be doing the automatic to manual conversion, the car is also newer and better. As for the evo, there isn't one in my price range, so I am settling for a ralliart. I'll also be doing a bolt on turbo kit in the next year or so. More updates to come on whats happening. :b

knears2000 BuilderBuilder ⛰️ Ex-President ⚒️⚒️What do you mean by "against the rules"?

Automatic cars are not the real way to drive a car, having an automatic on certain cars takes away from the fun you can have with them. Having an automatic transmission on a Lancer or a Subaru WRX STI for instance, is a complete waste.

RealRunakilli Call me dadEcoMaster ⛰️⛰️⛰️⛰️ Ex-EcoLeader ⚜️⚜️⚜️ Prestige ⭐ III ⭐ Premium UpgradeHonestly, there's no point in doing a conversion.

I know I don't live in Canada and I'm not a car person, but Runa kinda has a point. It was worth it to pay for my family's stick shift challi than to buy the automatic.

I paid $600 for my '97 Impreza. Not in horrible shape, but not in amazing shape.

Ok, so here is the big dilemma, the manual (04 lancer ralliart, white, 101,000 kms (60,000 miles), aftermarket stereo) is actually less money than the automatic (05 lancer ralliart, red, 66,000 kms (41,000 miles), aftermarket exhaust). The problem, is that I don't have the cash on hand right now to pay in full, my granddad is putting up the cash for me for now, so unfortunately, while he also likes a manual better, he also wants full service records, reports and full background checks on the car. The red one has that, while the white one does not. In the long run, I also have to think about what will be better down the road. I know I can get more money for the red one because it is both newer and more desirable due to much lower mileage.

Okay, I see where you're coming from now. You don't have enough cash right now to even afford it… :b
I can see why you're possibly getting the automatic.
I fail. -.-
