You may want to try to uninstall and do a clean reinstall. Launching before any adjustments and after each one separately to see where the issue starts. I have a very old laptop I run my minecraft on, and as long as I don't play with the settings/add mods, it works well enough for me to play.

If a clean reinstall doesn;t work, at that point you may want to go back and relaod a backup of your computer (I hope you back it up regularly) before the issue started. You may have DL'd/Installed/Changed something else unrelated that caused this.

 

Can you post the crash report?

I have no idea what that means honestly. I would try resetting your internet connection.

 

Is the family computer directly connected to the Internet, and your computer on wireless? As well, what is your Internet speed and ping (www.speedtest.net and www.pingtest.net)?

The error you posted has to do with your Internet (should be, anyway). You will need to reset it, upgrade it, or be directly plugged in (wireless has issues) for it to stop crashing/crash less.

Turn the router/modum off and on again, this should clear it up ;)
