if you want respect dont ask it in global chat where everyone will hear you and comment on what you say.

 

Everyone "blew up" because you accused @sitomo for something he did not do. Everyone else knew he would never do that and therefore blew up on you. Like sitomo said, if you have a complaint concerning the staff, please PM andrewkm.

 

Tip: Don't globally give your opinion if it's one many will not agree to that "disrespects" something. It's just begging to be flamed to no end.

This is the exact reason I don't give opinions on staff apps. If you give a negative opinion on something and others don't agree, they will argue and flame you.

If you continue to try to blame someone for something or get something changed and you know people won't always agree, you won't be getting that respect you asked for. I myself have been on the server a long time and I don't get a lot of people flaming me or my opinion because I play my cards right and make sure they don't have a reason to.

Also, are people blowing up over your opinion, or just yelling theirs? People will yell their opinion about everything, it's human nature. Right now, it's your opinion that everyone else is blowing up over stupid things... Technically, you are blowing up at everyone who does the same to you and asking them for respect. See how this works now? Try to see both sides instead of just yours. You are yelling just as much as they are and have no reason to hate them for it.

This is also why I learned to not care of someone insults/flames me/my opinion. Call me what you want, I really couldn't care less what you think of me. I do still prevent people from doing it as much as possible, I know that people hating me is still not beneficial to anyone including myself.


For the record, I am not blowing up on you, just giving my factual opinion and some advice.

To avoid conflict it is best that you contact andrewkm regarding the matter. If there is other incidents like this that had happened, Andrew would be notified by other players. It is not wise to talk about that issue on global and expect anyone to back you up. The respectful thing to do is contact his superior rather than slandering his name, not that that was your intention at all. It just comes out the wrong way that way.

Also, don't be offended when people back him up. You wrote it in global. You cannot possibly expect others to not react to it. Global is in fact for everyone to speak their mind in and yet are entitled to that as much as you are.

I hope the issue is resolved correctly and never brought up again so as to avoid conflicts.
