How is the specifications above?
-
There're good. Although I hate Lenovo computers. I just got a new MacBook Air and I love it. Not the best specs but it dose the job and runs mc/cs at 60-120fps and wasn't too much money. All you need for basic gaming or anything for that matter is an Intel i5, 4-8gb of ddr3 memory and Intel 6000 graphics (that will *pretty much* run anything)

Jacob43365 EcoLeaderEcoLeader ⛰️⛰️⛰️ Ex-President ⚒️⚒️Not really, Intel graphics won't run probably a lot of more demanding games.
Macs are good for work and a little gaming but a complete ripoff for mostly gaming. You can buy a $1000 ASUS laptop with better specs than a $2500 MacBook Pro. -
I won't get into a Mac Vs. Windows war but thats why I said pretty much any game, if you want to do heavy gaming you should just build your own desktop and not waste money on a "Gaming" laptop.

RyanBlocks2 EcoLeaderEcoLeader ⛰️⛰️⛰️ Ex-Tycoon ⚜️⚜️⚜️ Premium Upgrade-The CPU is fine, its a typical CPU for a decent laptop.
-Memory you wont need 16GB probably, I run 16 on my tower but only 8 on my laptop. Laptop sellers charge a fortune for RAM for no reason so get 8 and if u need more add it yourself.
-Likely wont have any problems with the graphics card. Other parts will bottleneck first.
- I would be very careful about the HDD. Make sure to check out the speed. Lenovo sells a decent laptop but they have a tendency to cut costs with their HDD and give you really cheap ones with slow speeds. This would likely be a major bottleneck to the system. You can always install an SSD though, its pretty easy on the y50.
- Another side note about lenovo. Their intel CPU's do have turbo boost. Yours will prob run about 3.3ghz with turbo boost activated. However, when you are running your graphics card lenovo will disable turbo boost and youll be back to 2.6ghz. You can bypass this pretty easily but you have to know what your doing and keep an eye on your temps so you don't overheat your computer. -

Another tip: make sure your laptop is on high performance. Battery will run out faster but you can just plug it in and the FPS will be better
