Nice setup for a laptop! :)
It's good for gaming, but you won't be able to run everything on max settings. Some very intensive might not even be able to run. Should be good for most games on medium/low settings. -

The most striking event I had recently done in Minecraft is that I got 230 FPS with OptiFine (2 chunks distance), does that sound weird?

Also, building laptops is VERY rare. Often, they are massive and bulky if people do build them. -

Intel i7 8gb ram 500gb hard drive @7200rpm 24gb ssd Intel graphics and a 15" screen.. Good specs but I over paid for it and only get 25-50 fps on low settings with render distance on 2, on my I Mac I get a steady 60 fps on high settings and 10 render distance

Yea sadly :( probably why I get such low fps, I could have got a Msi with gforce graphics but it had an i5 and I though Minecraft didn't need good graphics
