I came across Mumble today and it seems like a much better option then vent for voice chat. It has the same latency as a phone call. It features better voice quality then vent. It even has a better security system as well. It uses less CPU and RAM compared to vent. It also features voice normalization. The best part is that it is open source, so that means we can host it on our server. Thought you can look into Andy.
