I personally would think an eff 7 pick would be a lot more fun to use and wouldn't get as boring as melon farming for hours and hours.

i can agree with the eff7 to a point. it can certainly make more money.
however, idk if you have fly, and even if you did, there are still risks associated with the nature of mining world.
melon farming on the other hand, while not glorious, will always be a steady source of safe income.-

It is hard but I have to go with the msword for these reasons
- It is a steady source of income (not based on luck or skill but just breaking a block)
- It is not risky to use
- You can farm and watch TV at the same time. (main reason)
- It does not require any donations to use efficiently (eff7 needs fly and it is recommended to have pyro+)

I appreciate this answer and I think it sums it up perfectly. I personally am working toward the melon sword first, then earn the money to buy the pick since I really enjoy mining more.

JokerBoss99 BuilderBuilder ⛰️ Ex-Mayor ⚒️⚒️Ok, before my eff 7 got stolen I had a melon sword. The melon sword is a pain to make money, so repetative and boring yet it does make good money.
When I had my eff7, I made 23k+/hour I made about 3k of that in stone alone.
Eff7's are fun, not boring, bigger income, and better (imo)

Yes you get 23k because you have fly. I once rented a eff7 without fly and barely made my money back. Yes it was more fun then using a melon sword, however the melon sword does have it's perks. -

I have heard that eff7s make 20-50k depending on the person (I doubt that I'll be able to figure out how to make 30k+) and melon swords make 19k per hour. I am working for a melon sword for a few reasons.
1. Takes little effort and attention. With a melon sword you can watch TV and still be able to farm efiiciently.
2. I always do something stupid and get killed by lava. To me, its not worth the risk if you don't have pyro+.
