The Staff Application Forum...
really?
Although there are no rules against "recreating" your staff application, I find this to actually be really stupid. A few examples of members who decide to go and create two applications:
gwong
viewtopic.php?f=104&t=4176
viewtopic.php?f=104&t=3722&start=10
Arb_67
Created two applications, however I am unable to find the first one for some reason ~.~
not only did he post two, but at the end of the first one. (second link) he said "I will not be trying to get moderator anymore as I will not be able to keep up I have Boy scouts and school is coming" If he knew that he would not be capable of staying online for a surplus of hours, why would he post a second application?
Along the lines of the forum, I believe the section should be taken seriously. These 1 line comments/biased answers just don't cut it for me:
There are also CONVERSATIONS being held inside the applications.
In conclusion, I propose a solution. All members should be screened before they are permitted to post/reply to staff/moderator applications. For new members looking at the forums, it looks like a pigsty.

Re: More Strict Rules In Staff Application Section/And Or Sc
I find the one-two liners ridiculous and I can't really do anything about it. I hope the rules for posting on applications become much more strict. -

Re: More Strict Rules In Staff Application Section/And Or Sc
In the past, I know i saw a rule against the posting of a second app, and it was enforced in the past for habsjosh. When arb made his second app, I literally scoured the rules looking for it, only to find it was removed. And the one liners are really uneeded, the section is meant for feedbakc, not "good luck" or something to that effect that I see much too much.
I agree, the section needs a rework. -
Re: More Strict Rules In Staff Application Section/And Or Sc
Just set it to require mod approval for new posts and remove the ones that are just "vouched for" or "good luck" or "wow your app sucks."
