It it would be awesome if someone could help me with this. Me and my friend are interested in mod dev, only, we don't know what were doing, so, if someone could take the time to answer the below questions, that would be great. 1. What programs do I need? 2. What sort of programming experience would I need? 3. How long should I expect this too take? 4. What should I make the mod do if I'm just beginning? I'll add more as they arise.

xD It's true, I can't explain anything that well, and mods is the last thing you want to ask for my help on
1. you need MCP. 2. you dont need any programming experience (i suggest following some tuts here). 3. the simple mods are like 5-10 minutes work but if you have great plans then expect to put in a lot of time. 4. just make some simple block mods then some ores and tools and after a while more stuff (your imagination is the limit (and your skills ofcourse))
Ive been wanting to do this too, its just I cant figure out how to set it up so I can start making the mod
I can't get SDK to work on my school laptop, so, mac it is. I could also use a GD for the mod, if anyine is good with that, it would be great.
